Majority of the basic package has been fulfilled. The kitchen cabinets are ready, the false ceiling is up and the 1st coating of paint has been done. Besides some patching up to be made, the renovation is considered to be half-way completed. the kitchen accessories will be installed this saturday. Just can't wait to see our induction hob and mega kitchen sink in place :) ID Desmond mentioned that the bathroom accessories like water heater, rain shower head and corner glass shelves will also be fixed up on the same day. He summaried that his next step would be applying the 2nd coating of paint. But this could only be carried out after the lightings are installed, the grilles are mounted and the carpentry work are fitted. Gosh... that means it is our call now.
Our electrician, Mr Ong, would come to install those lightings on next saturday. Got to inform Alex from A Lighting to deliver the loots on next friday evening or saturday morning...Errr must remember...
Next, we have confirmed the grilles with Wellmax. Eric scheduled a weekday for installation. Think hubby has to be at the new house or no one could open the door for Eric :P
Carpentry works are done by John & Dav. David turns out to be hubby's campmate! Such a small world! Anyway, his offer is the best we could find and hopefully his workmanship is as good as per recommended in the reno forum :) Actual installation can only happen in next week earliest :( Think our initial intention to move in by end of September is not possible afterall. We are so glad to have the keys early. Else it is unthinkable if the renovation get dragged and yet we got to hand over our old house to the buyer... who would take in our family of 4? sob sob.. :P
That's not a worry now. We should be ready to shift out when the keys are to be handed over in November....
